This is why I love Star Wars
Star Wars is my favorite pop culture icon! This page is an explanation of why I love Star Wars as much as I do.
Reason One: It brings generations together!
My dad shared Star Wars:A New Hope, with me when I was four years old. As soon as I was old enough to say the word lightsaber, I was gifted a toy lightsaber. Star Wars brought my dad and I together like nothing else. I have a great relationship with him, and one of the #1 things that keeps us tight is Star Wars, and I know that is the case for countless other families.
Reason Two: It has a super awesome story!
It has something for everyone! Humor, romance, and thrills exist in abundance in the universe of Star Wars! It is an everlasting battle for balance between the Dark Side and the Light. In the original trilogy, the Galactic Empire has seized the galaxy and is in control of EVERYTHING. The Rebel Alliance has a different idea. There, our story begins. I won't spoil anything.
Reason Three: It has great morals, and teaches valuable lessons.
The overarching plot shows a necessity for the balance of Dark and Light. It explains that not all of the 'dark side' is bad and not all of the light is good! It reminds us of the importance of family. It shows alien prejudice, and war, and how those things are definitely bad. May I also restate... IT IS JUST PLAIN AWESOME!
